Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service between Nov. 2 and 6:
Nov. 2
Fraud: 5 p.m., 12900 block of Southeast 296th Way. An Auburn resident placed an online advertisement for something or other and found himself scammed out of thousands of dollars.
Nov. 3
Burglary: Overnight, 12110 SE 312th St. Somebody broke into the office at Paso Fino Apartments and burglarized it.
Shoplifting: 10:30 a.m.. 1038 Outlet Collection Way SW. Two females stole a demo phone from an AT&T store near the Outlet Collection Mall.
Nov. 4
Theft: 1 a.m., 420 37th St. NW. Police busted a man for slurping up gas from a vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business.
Nov. 5
Theft from vehicle: 8:37 a.m., 200 block of C St NW. A person or persons broke into a work van and stole an undisclosed number of power tools.
Nov. 6
Trespassing: 8:53 a.m., 1402 Harvey Road NE. Good riddance, said Starbucks, to a troublemaking woman.
Shoplifting: 5:10 p.m., 4010 A St. SE. A group of individuals shoplifted something or other from Albertsons and left in a vehicle that witnesses later spotted driving recklessly before involving itself in a hit-and-run collision.
