Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Nov. 8 and 12:
Nov. 8
Recovered vehicle: 10:50 a.m., 300 block of M Street Northeast. Police recovered a stolen U-Haul 5th wheel cargo trailer.
Escape: 12:30 p.m., 12722 SE 312th St. Police had a warrant arrestee in cuffs and were searching him when he ran. He didn’t get far, however, and police booked the cuffed, and now disappointed, desperado into jail for possessing drug paraphernalia and trying to escape.
Hit and run: 5:04 p.m., 90 block of 3rd Street Southeast. After police arrested a guy for hit and run, he told police he’d been ”in shock” from the collision when he fled the scene and had then walked into his place of employment, where he told fellow employees what had happened and said he did not know what to do. That’s where police found him.
Nov. 9
Strong arm bank robbery: 2:22 p.m., 206 A St. SE. One or several persons robbed Washington Federal Bank.
Vandalism: 8 p.m., 30700 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. Somebody, employing a method undisclosed, vandalized a window.
Nov. 10
Felony eluding: 3:38 p.m., 902 Outlet Collection Way SW. A stolen vehicle with somebody at the wheel failed to yield and fled from authorities.
Vandalism: 4 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Someone tried without success to pry open a trailer door. The business wanted a police report.
Vandalism: 9:15 a.m., 1070 Outlet Collection Way SW. An man kicked his ex-girlfriend’s car door, causing extensive damage during their child exchange, and thereby exposing his offspring to domestic violence.
Nov. 12
Lewd conduct: 9:53 p.m., 100 A St. SW. Police busted this dude for indecent exposure, though they did not disclose exactly what he had exposed so indecently.
