Harold Bowden, Celebration of Life. Harold “Hal” passed away November 1, 2017 at the age of 66. He was born on October 26, 1951 in Russellville, Arkansas to Clarence Bowden (deceased) and Helen Bowden.
Harold was employed as an X-ray Technician Senior Inspector in Non-destructive Testing until his retirement 15 years ago. His work took him to Alaska, various areas in the South as well as Seattle. Harold attended Auburn schools until 10th grade, and graduated from Russellville HS. He enjoyed the outdoors, walking, hiking and biking in his younger years. Harold did not ask much from this life, choosing to live it in a simple way.
Harold is survived by his son Shawn Bowden of Vilonia, Arkansas, his loving companion of 25 years, Grace Winslow of Enumclaw, mother Helen Bowden and brother Dane Bowden of Auburn and sister Suzanne Cullen of Grand Junction, CO, as well as 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, nieces and nephews and his Aunts Iris Brown and Bettye Rachel.
A celebration of Harold’s life will take place at the Auburn Eagles Lodge, Auburn, WA on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:00pm. Please join us as we celebrate our beloved son, father, brother and friend.
