Auburn Rotary raises money to eradicate polio; Oda wins contest

Noel Oda, a senior at Auburn High School, picked the winning square on the Auburn Rotary’s Polio Plus contribution board and won $500.

The Auburn Rotary Club raised $2,000 for the fund to eradicate polio by producing a grid worth $25 a square. One of the squares was worth $500.

Accepting the check from Rotary president Terry Davis was Oda’s mother, Marci Oda.
