Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between June 25 and 30:

June 25

Trespassing: 7:33 a.m. 1531 Auburn Way N. During breakfast, McDonald’s management demanded some McTrouble-making guy scramble his legs and McBeat feet.

CPS referral:: 9:12 p.m., D Place Southeast. A girl called police to notify them that the mother of a 14-year-old friend was just then assaulting her offspring.

June 26

Order to surrender weapon: 11 a.m., 340 E. Main St. Pursuant to a court order, a man surrendered his firearms to Auburn Police.

June 27

Fraud: 12:45 p.m., 12:45 p.m., 13000 block of Southeast 308th Lane. A fraudster who claimed to be from the IRS convinced his mark that if he’d buy $1,500 worth of Google Play cards and provide said con man with the cards’ numbers he’d deep-six a phony lawsuit.

June 28

Burglary: Overnight, 300 block of 15th Street Northeast. Burglars slouching under cover of night practiced their nefarious avocation on a construction site container.

June 30

Street robbery with a knife: 4:55 p.m., 111 10th St. SE. A robber used a knife to rob someone of an item or items undisclosed.

Vandalism: 10:40 a.m., 400 block of 21st Street Southeast. Police arrested an Auburn resident for damaging windows in an apartment complex.
