The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 295 calls for service between July 9 and 15, among them the following:
July 9
Aid call: 9:28 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated and treated a woman who was complaining of shortness of breath, and firefighters transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).
July 10
Aid call: 11:34 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters evaluated a middle-aged woman who had fallen and may have been suffering seizures. and then left her in the care of nursing staff.
July 11
Aid call: 6:56 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters assessed a man who was complaining of an allergic reaction to a bee sting, administered epinephrine and transported him to MAMC for further treatment.
July 12
Aid call: 2:57 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters evaluated a man who had been performing pool maintenance when he accidentally splashed muriatic acid in his face, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.
July 13
Aid call: 4:06 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters examined a woman with severe abdominal pain, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.
July 14
Car fire with exposure: 5:36 p.m.,(Auburn). Responding to the report of a car fire with exposure to a detached garage, Engine 31 quickly attacked said fire, prevented it from spreading to the house and extinguished it without incident.
July 15
Aid call: 2:36 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated a young man who had collapsed during a soccer game, determined the guy needed further care in a hospital setting and scooted him to MAMC.
