Auburn Police blotter | Aug. 31

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Aug. 18 and 23:

Aug. 18

Theft: 3:27 p.m., 1000 block of 37th Street Southeast. Somebody reported that days earlier, an unknown thief entered his or her vehicle and stole undisclosed tools worth an undisclosed amount that had been sequestered inside.

Aug. 20

Theft: 4 a.m., 1600 block of 8th Street Northeast. Somebody broke into another’s vehicle in predawn Auburn and swiped a stereo amplifier.

Assault on officer: 12:29 p.m., 1800 block of 21st Court Southeast. Police arrested a person for assaulting a police officer in circumstances undisclosed.

Vandalism: 11:05 p.m., 2000 block of Noble Court Southeast. A man vandalized his roommate’s property.

Vandalism: 11:40 p.m., 300 block of L Street Southeast. Elsewhere, 40 minutes later, another disgruntled individual punctured tires on his roommate’s vehicle.

Aug. 21

Trespassing: 2:56 a.m., 23 A St. SE. The powers that be told a misbehaving man at the Transit Center to make wheels, git, hit the road.

Vandalism: Overnight, 600 block of 8th Street Northeast. A woman reported a broken window on her vehicle.

Warrant arrests: 8 a.m., 2717 19th Place Southeast. A woman called police to report two unwanted personnel sleeping in front of a vacant apartment. Police contacted said unwanted personnel and arrested them for outstanding warrants.

Arson: 3:52 p.m., 12722 SE 312TH ST. A vehicle fire was reported on the west side of the K building at the Seasons of Lea Hill Village apartments.

Trespassing: 5:03 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Whatever the guy was looking for, Fred Meyer told him to find it somewhere else.

Vandalism: 5:14 p.m., 2536 I St. NE. Somebody damaged a security camera at the Ray of Hope shelter.

Aug. 22

Recovered stolen vehicle: 3:14 p.m., 700 37th St. NW. Police recovered an undisclosed type of stolen vehicle on the Interurban Trail.

Theft: 7:57 p.m., 1227 Auburn Way N. Office Depot called police to report the theft of a tablet.

Aug. 23

Arson: 7:19 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody burned a tree.
