Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Oct. 1 and 8:
Oct. 1
Postal theft: 11:30 a.m., 1435 22nd St. NW. Somebody stole two invoices and a check for payment from Torr Technologies’ mailbox.
Bike theft: 3:18 p.m., 1900 block of 37th Way SE. Somebody swiped a specialized turquoise-colored road bicycle from the back of a man’s truck.
Oct. 3
Credit card fraud: 10:35 a.m., 1400 block of Lake Tapps Parkway Southeast. A woman popped into the lobby of the Auburn Police Department to report an attempted fraud that involved her previously-stolen debit card. The fraud was only attempted, however, the transaction was declined, no money was lost.
Oct. 4
Theft: 4 p.m., 32000 block of 50th Court South. Somebody stole packages that had been delivered to someone else.
Theft: Overnight, 2400 block of 17th Drive Southeast. Somebody stole a small boat from a resident’s yard.
Oct. 6
Stalking: Overnight, 725 37th St. SE. Police investigated a claim of stalking.
Oct. 7
Vandalism: Overnight, 510 E. Main St. A vandal or vandals damaged the storefront window of a downtown salon.
Oct. 8
Burglary: 10:42 a.m., 1540 Industry Drive SW. Staff at the Mattress Firm called police to report a burglary to their store. overnight.
Controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia: 1:26 a.m., 1519 Auburn Way S. In the wee small hours of the morning, under a blanket of darkness, police busted a dude for committing various objectionable misdemeanors at Goodwill.
