Auburn Riverside’s youth brigade made waves at the North Puget Sound League girls swimming and diving meet last weekend.

The Ravens finished second in the team chase with 170 points. Tahoma prevailed with 270 points.

Freshmen Ashley Ray, Peyton Fulmer, Kaelie Allan and Zoe Harris powered their way to a second-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3 minutes, 45.9 seconds. Fulmer, Ray, Harris and Kyra Brandt were second in the 200 medley relay (1:54.20)

Ray and Harris went three-four in the 50 freestyle with times of 25.43 and 25.47, respectively.

Ray also was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.99).

Harris posted a second in the 100 freestyle (56.58), followed by Fulmer in fifth (57.36).

Fulmer added a third in the 100 backstroke (1:02.0).

Allan took second in the 500 freestyle (5:30.20). She led off the 200 freestyle relay, a group that included Brandt, Kaitlyn Anardi and Shae Fairchild, that finished fourth in 1:48.27.

For Auburn Mountainview, Jade Le was second in the 200 individual medley (2:15.71), second in the 100 butterfly (1:00.81).

Auburn’s Camryn Tongue was sixth in the 1-meter diving finals (272.50).

Top finishers and qualifiers compete at the district meet at the Curtis Aquatic Center this weekend.
