Lucille I. ”Tootsie” Schumsky, was born in Auburn, WA on August 29, 1927. She passed away on October 24, 2018 at age 91.

She is survived by her sons Raymond Paul (Debbie) Schumsky and Vincent Bruce Schumsky, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her son Bradley, and Parents, Otho “Ty” & Ruth Beatty.

She graduated from Auburn High School in 1945 and maintained many strong friendships throughout Auburn from her childhood. She loved dancing, music, and visits with family and friends. She once worked at Dahlgren-Massey Soda Fountain and later volunteered at the Auburn Performing Arts Center & Senior Center. She was a great story teller, loved to laugh and her smile lit up the room. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.

A memorial reception is planned for Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church Gathering Space from 2pm-4pm.
