Mike Moran is the new senior pastor at Grace Community Church.
Moran, who comes to Auburn after previously working in Modesto, Calif., succeeds Ben Cross, who became the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church in Eugene, Ore.
Moran and his wife, Nancy, lived in Modesto for most of their lives. He was one of the leading pastors at First Baptist Church, Modesto, where he shared in the preaching responsibilities.
Moran has led his church in numerous positions over two decades. He has 18 years of full-time Christian ministry experience working with large congregations.
Raised in Stockton, Calif., Moran has a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Seminary, and has invested in Western Seminary’s California program.
The Morans have two grown children: a daughter, Kati, 25, and a son, Patrick, 23, both of whom live and work in the Modesto area.
Moran’s hobbies include golf, Starbucks, walking, day trips, and enjoying friends and family.
