Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Aug. 7 and 9.
Aug. 7
Shoplifting: 11:40 a.m., 2705 Auburn Way N. An Auburn pawn shop reported that some bloke had previously stolen a television.
Trespassing: 12:32 p.m., 309000 124th Avenue SE. For wrongdoings undisclosed, a man got the order to stay away from Lea Hill Elementary and all other school district property until 2024.
Hit and run: 1:15 p.m., 800 block of F Street Southeast. Police busted a runaway teenage girl who’d driven a car without a license or identification, hit a parked car and skedaddled. Police have since forwarded the case to the King County Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, and the girl’s mother has her kid back.
Property theft: 11 a.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. Some bad person slithered into a kiosk and stole an undisclosed amount of money at The Outlet Collection Mall.
Theft: 12 p.m., 1100 block of 17th Street Northeast. Somebody stole a lawnmower.
Vandalism: 9 p.m., 100 block of E Street Southwest. Somebody vandalized a vehicle with spray paint.
Vandalism: 2 p.m., 5942 Peasley Canyon Road S. Somebody cut a vehicle’s gas line.
More vandalism: 6:53 a.m., 105 1st St. NE. Somebody shattered the windows in the door of an abandoned drive through.
Aug. 8
Trespassing: 8:11 a.m., 2826 Auburn Way N. The owner of Down Home Laundry told a miscreant male and female pair to get clean outta there, and stay out until at least 2023.
Assault: 3:14 p.m., 31000 block of 120th Avenue Southeast. While a guy was assaulting his ex-girlfriend, he threatened to kill her and damaged her property.
Aug. 9
Motorcycle theft: 8:53 a.m., 7053 Lindsay Avenue SE. Somebody stole somebody else’s motorcycle.
Assault: 12:04 p.m., 2900 block of Auburn Way S. Police busted a man for assaulting his girlfriend.
Found property: 3:20 p.m., 2100 block of 2nd Street Southeast. Somebody found five laptop computers in a yard.
Strong armed robbery: 3:07 a.m., 1700 Evergeen Way SE. Two girls beat up another girl then took her necklaces.
