Stacey Edward Brothers, long time resident of Auburn, Washington passed away August 9, 2019 at the age of 71.

Stacey was born September 15, 1947 to father: Stacey Valentyne Brothers and mother: Ruth Helen Anderson. He was baptized January 9, 1948 by the Methodist Church.

Stacey graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1965, then went on to obtain his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in 1969. During his final semester at UW, Stacey joined the Army Reserves and then graduated as a journalist from Fort Benjamin, Harrison, IN. Stacey proudly served his community as an Auburn City Councilman from 1985-1999.

Stacey is survived by two children and one grand child. A memorial service was held among close family and friends at Tuell-McKee Funeral Home, Tacoma.
