Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Sept. 10 and 15:
Sept. 10
Corrupt currency: 11:15 a.m., 500 E. Main St. Somebody found a bogus bill and handed it over to police.
Property theft: 1:08 p.m. 2901 I St. NE. An Auburn nursing home employee allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money from her employer during a recent span of time.
Busy bad boy 12:59 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Police arrested this one dude for theft, for having drug paraphernalia in his possession, for trespassing and for failing to obey police commands, all of it going down at Fred Meyer.
Sept. 11
Property theft: 7:57 a.m., 2201 Auburn Way N. A thief – or several of them in thievish confederacy – stole undisclosed property from automobiles in the wee hours of the morning.
Fight: 12:44 a.m., 1001 Outlet Collection Way SW. In the shadow of the Outlet Collection mall, at the dawn of a new day, two guys got into fisticuffs.
Credit card fraud: 2 p.m., 3705 Auburn Way N. Staff at Nielsen Brothers Carpets reported the theft of materials via credit card fraud.
Theft: 5 p.m., 1200 block of 29th Street Southeast. The owner of a generator reported it missing.
Found property: 8 p.m., 500 block of 29th Street Southeast. Somebody found property inside of a resident’s drawer.
Sept. 14
Theft: 8:30 a.m., 900 block of Auburn Way South. Somebody broke into a vehicle and stole a backpack, committing vandalism in the process.
Sept. 15
Strong arm robbery: 6:02 p.m., 1609 Howard Road Southeast. Somebody committed a strong arm robbery at Joann Fabrics.
