City, businesses, service agencies team up to participate in Tree of Giving

Join the City of Auburn, social service agencies and the business community to participate in the Tree of Giving program and share the spirit of the holidays with someone else this year. The generosity will add some sparkle to the lives of at-risk children, senior citizens, and/or developmentally and physically disabled individuals during the holiday season.

Tree of Giving tags can be found at one of the following public or retail locations listed below:

• Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main St.

• Auburn Parks, Arts, & Rec., 910 Ninth St. SE

• Auburn Senior Activity Center, 808 Ninth St. SE

• Auburn Gymnastics Ctr., 1601 Boundary Blvd.

• Images Hair Design and Skin Care, 1528 8th Street NE

• Mane Team Salon, 205 East Main St., Suite A

• Nelson’s Jewelry, 101 East Main St.

• Rottle’s Apparel and Shoes, 226 East Main St.

• Sterling Bank, 1261 Auburn Way N

• Wells Fargo, 101 Auburn Way N

To participate, simply select a tag from any Tree of Giving; purchase a gift (items are suggested on each tag), wrap the gift and place the gift tag securely on the outside of the gift; return the gift to any Auburn Tree of Giving location or during normal business hours or to Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation (910 Ninth St. SE) or Auburn City Hall (25 West Main St.).

Wrapped gifts need to be returned by Wednesday, Dec. 16 to enable volunteers to deliver them in time for the holidays. Gifts may be presented in your name or anonymously.
