From the Sideline

“Ethan capped off his senior season with an impressive third-place finish at the state wrestling tournament. Following his fifth-place finish in 2019, Ethan finished this season with a bang. He won a league title, a regional title and finished third at state, dropping only one match to the eventual state champion. His big win came in the consolation semifinals where he competed against Logan Stafford of South Kitsap, who had beaten him twice previously. Ethan was able to put together arguably his best match of the season and avenged his previous loss with a 9-4 win. Ethan has had an amazing wrestling career at Auburn Riverside and will hopefully continue at the next level.”

“As a sophomore, Ashley Park was a team captain and has been a solid supporter of the Auburn Riverside gymnastics program for the last two years. She’s been an anchor to her team as an all-around performer and has been a district and state competitor the past two years. Her performance helped the team to a fifth-place finish at the state meet last year. This season Ashley qualified for state as an individual on the vault, beam and bars. We look forward to seeing her accomplishments next season. ”
