The Valley Regional Fire Authority snuffed out what investigators say is an arson fire early Sunday morning involving four semi-tractor trucks at Oscar trucking company at 1449 Valentine Ave. in Pacific.
Firefighters arrived at 12:23 a.m. to find three trucks fully involved and a fourth partially involved in fire. Two fire engines extinguished the fires in 10 minutes.
A neighbor had reported hearing an explosion followed by a car leaving at a high rate of speed. He then noted the fire and called 911.
The South King County Fire Investigation task force has determined that the fire was an arson. Nobody was hurt, but damage to the four trucks is estimated to be $60,000.
