The following reports are taken from the Auburn Police Department blotter between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10. There was a total of 19 assaults, 12 vehicle thefts and 15 burglaries reported on the blotter.

Aug. 4

Burglary: Someone attempted to burgle Terminal Park Elementary School at 8 a.m.

Stolen gun: A gun was reportedly left behind at a hotel room on the 400 block of 8th Street Southwest at 1:40 p.m. Police learned the gun was reported stolen to the Renton Police Department at an earlier time.

Who’s the thief: A man reported items were stolen from his vehicle on 68th Street Southeast at 12:43 p.m. When police investigated, the people who took the items claimed they were retrieving items illegally taken by the reporting victim.

Aug. 5

Trailer theft: A trailer was stolen from the 300 block of A Street Southeast between 9 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 4 p.m. Aug. 5.

License plate bandit: License plates were reported stolen from a car on the 100 block of Clay Street Northwest at around 12 p.m.

Catalytic converter: A catalytic converter was stolen off of a car on the 400 block of 17th Street Southeast.

Aug. 6

Car shot: A vehicle was shot on the 200 block of A Street Southeast at 2:35 a.m.

DUI crash: A man was arrested for DUI after a collision on the 10400 block of Lea Hill Road Southeast.

Found gun: A handgun was reportedly found on the 2400 block of Auburn Way South.

Aug. 7

Domestic violence: A man was arrested for domestic violence assault on 4th Street Northeast at 1:52 p.m.

Harassment: A man was threatened and had his vehicle damaged at Les Gove Park at 9:30 p.m.

Assault: A man was assaulted at the Muckleshoot Casino between 9:30 and 10:15 p.m.

Aug. 8

Trespass: A 19-year-old male was trespassed from The Outlet Collections of Seattle for five years at the request of Outlet Collections security at 5:15 p.m.

Vandalism: A male vandalized two cars on the 1200 block of A Street Northeast at 7:25 p.m.

Assault: A woman was arrested for felony assault and violating a domestic violence protection order at 2:30 a.m. on A Street Northeast.

Aug. 9

Shooting: A shooting was reported on the 1400 block of 17th Street Southeast at 5:30 a.m.

Burglary: A business was burglarized on the 1700 block of E Street Northeast between 12 p.m. on Aug. 7 and 8 a.m. Aug. 9.

Domestic Violence: A man was arrested for domestic violence at the Belara Apartments at 11:30 a.m.

Aug. 10

Warrant arrest: A man was arrested for an outstanding warrant after he was suspected of car prowling on Auburn Way South at 9:10 p.m.

Motorcycle theft: A motorcycle was reported stolen from 127th Place Southeast at 4:22 p.m.

Assault: An assault was reported in the 2900 block of I Street Northeast at 7:45 p.m.
