The Lions (12-6-0) will advance to play Garfield in the quarterfinals. Kickoff and venue have not been determined.

Auburn Mountain earned the No. 5 seed into the state playoffs with a 3-1 win over South Puget Sound League rival Sumner last Saturday in a West Central District III/Southwest District 4 tournament loser-out game.

Meanwhile, Auburn Riverside turned away Columbia River 4-1 in a bidistrict elimination match last Saturday to clinch a berth into the state playoffs.

The Ravens (13-4-1) open the state tournament against Roosevelt (10-6-3) Wednesday at Seattle’s Interbay Stadium.
