Last year the Trojans fought their way out of the difficult SPSL North 4A with a fifth-place finish and powered their way into the state 4A tourney for the first time in 30 years.

AUBURN TROJANS

• Coach: Adam Ladage, third year

• Last year: fifth in the SPSL North 4A with an 8-7-1 record, 10-8-1 overall. Earned program’s first trip to state in 30 years.

• Top returners: Kailey Robinson, senior, defender; Makayla Stonstelie, junior, midfielder; Hana Mizoguchi, senior, forward; Sara McCullom, senior, midfielder; McKenna Wall, junior, midfielder; and Megan McCullom, senior, midfielder.

• Impact newcomers: Sofia Arnone, senior, midfielder; Maddyson Arnone, freshman, goalkeeper; and Naryia Hudson, freshman, forward.

• Outlook: Last year the Trojans fought their way out of the difficult SPSL North 4A with a fifth-place finish and powered their way into the state 4A tourney for the first time in 30 years. This year the team looks to return and make its presence felt at state. The team is loaded with returning players, including returning All-SPSL North 4A first-teamer Robinson and second-teamers Sonstelie, Mizoguchi, Wall and Sara McCullom.
