Sept. 22

Aid call: 7:30 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated at the scene a woman suffering complications from pancreatic cancer before a private ambulance transported her to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Sept. 23

Vehicle fire: 1:45 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters extinguished a passenger vehicle fire. Nobody was hurt, and the vehicle sustained only minor damage.

Sept. 24

Accident: 3:19 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters responding to a three-car accident found minor damage to all vehicles and two passengers complaining of injuries. After firefighters treated the occupants, family members transported them to local hospitals.

Sept. 25

Smoke investigation: 4:41 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters dispatched to a smoke investigation eyeballed a large quantity of white smoke rising from an illegal burn. After firefighters had educated the errant homeowner about the VRFA’s burning regulations, she extinguished the fire with a garden hose.

Aid call: 7 a.m., (Auburn). After firefighters treated a woman who was struggling to catch her breath, King County Medics transported her to a local hospital.

Aid call: 7:56 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters responding to an older man with facial drooping determined first that his symptoms were inconsistent with a stroke, and then learned of his previous history of Bels palsy. A private ambulance transported the man to Valley Medical Center in Renton.

Sept. 28

Aid call: 1:32 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a senior who had fallen days earlier and was now complaining of severe dehydration. A private ambulance transported the man to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).
