Auburn police say a shooting on May 30 at the Copper Gate apartment complex in the 4700 block of Auburn Way North resulted in critical injuries to a man.
As of May 31, the man remains in critical condition, according to the department’s social media. Police suspect the involvement of multiple individuals in the incidents.
Police located and recovered several stolen vehicles present at the scene of the crime. Police have not arrested anyone in connection to the incident as of May 31.
The incident marks the second shooting at the Copper Gate apartment complex within a week.
Auburn police dispatched on May 29 after receiving a report at 6:02 p.m. regarding a weapons offense at the apartment complex.
One victim located bullet holes in his vehicle, with the shooting believed to have happened overnight.
Police have no suspects, and no injuries resulted from the May 29 incident.
