According to the department’s public information log, Auburn police arrested a man in the incident on a charge of burglary in the first degree. Police collected a knife as evidence in the incident. Knife brandished: Auburn police responded on Oct. 31 after receiving a report at approximately 7:27 a.m. regarding a weapons offense at a restaurant in the 1000 block of Outlet Collection Way Southwest. According to the department’s public information log, a man brandished a knife inside the restaurant. The incident involved two victims. Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate the man.

Aggravated assault: Auburn police responded on Oct. 31 after receiving a report at approximately 11:02 a.m. regarding an aggravated assault in the 600 block of L Street Southeast. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested a man for assaulting his girlfriend in the incident. According to the department’s log, the assault involved no weapons and resulted in injury to the girlfriend. Police arrested him on a charge of assault in the second degree. Police collected a firearm as evidence in the incident.
