The Pacific Police Department busted a marijuana growing operation of more than 155 plants this past Thursday.
According to department spokesperson Stephanie Shook, an officer stumbled on the grow operation while serving an arrest warrant on a Bellevue resident believed to be at the house in the 100 block of Homer Lane.
“He went to the residence looking for the warrant subject, and he knocked and rang the doorbell, and nobody answered,” Shook said.
Shook said the officer found an open, unsecured door, and while securing the door, discovered the grow operation.
“There was a substantial amount of plants,” Shook said.
The plants were in various stages of growth, according to the Pacific Police Department.
The police have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the operation, but charges are still pending, Shook said.
