Auburn police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between March 3 and March 8:
March 3
Trespassing: 8:39 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A woman at the Muckleshoot Casino with too great a quantity of fermented beverage sloshing about in her system got upset after the bar cut her off from further guzzling. Repeatedly told to leave, the woman instead grew loud, argumentative and belligerent with police, dug her heels in and got herself arrested for trespassing. She continued to argue with corrections officers at the jail, where tests revealed her blood alcohol level to be .177, more than twice the legal limit.
Fraud: 9:37 p.m., 1406 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. A man tried to buy goods with a counterfeit bill from Top Food and Drug but couldn’t get away with it. Police didn’t say whether the man was caught and arrested.
March 4
Burglary: 8:30 a.m., 30706 132nd Ave. SE. A burglar, or perhaps several burglars, broke into a construction trailer and burgled numerous tools and equipment. Police did not disclose a value for the missing items.
Shoplifting: 5:55 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Two female customers — girls, women, police didn’t say — concealed merchandise on their persons while walking about an undisclosed store at the SuperMall. One of the females left with a stolen T-shirt in her purse. Police did not disclose a value for the missing merchandise.
March 6
Vandalism: Overnight, 2500 block of H St. SE. Obnoxious, gang-related graffiti appeared on an Auburn residence.
March 7
Theft of funds: 9:39 a.m., 3600 block of Auburn Way S. A woman called to report that someone had accessed her checking account and then tried to withdraw funds without her say-so.
Felony fraud: Overnight, 1502 Lake Tapps Parkway. An unknown man tried to pass two bogus prescriptions at Walgreens. Police didn’t say if he was arrested or anything like that.
Recovered stolen vehicle: 7 p.m., 2100 block of Dogwood Drive Southeast.A called called 911 to report a suspicious vehicle parked in front of his residence. Investigation revealed it to be an unreported stolen vehicle. Police returned said vehicle to its owner.
March 8
Theft: 5:45 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man for having stolen a $197.52 gaming ticket at the Muckleshoot Casino on Feb. 28.
Theft: 3 p.m., 6100 block of Isaac Avenue Southeast. Somebody broke into a woman’s garage and stole wood working tools. Police did not disclose a value for the missing tools.
