Iggy Azalea brings hip-hop music to State Fair on Sept. 22

Australian rapper, songwriter, model and superstar Iggy Azalea performs Sept. 22 at the Washington State Fair, part of Columbia Bank Concert Series.

With a passion for hip-hop music so strong that she left her Australian homeland at the age of 16, Azalea has made a name for herself since she arrived in America in 2006. She became a protégé of rapper T.I., gained recognition for two music videos that when viral, and is working on her second album after her No. 1 hit single, “Fancy” and song with Ariana Grande, “Problem” hit No. 2.

She has also signed as a model with Wilhelmina Models, and was announced as the face of Levi’s “Go Forth” campaign. She still fit in time to appear in the recently released “Furious 7” movie, and just released a duet with Britney Spears titled “Pretty Girls.”

Tickets are $85 (Golden Circle), $70 and $65 and include fair gate admission. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
