Valley Regional Fire Authority firefighters extinguished a vacant house fire in the area of 1300 Auburn Way South on Friday night.

At 6:04 p.m., the VRFA responded to reports of a structure fire and upon arrival, found a single-family residential home with smoke from the eaves. Firefighters entered, quickly located, knocked down and extinguished the fire.

There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.

Fire investigators are determining the fire’s cause and origin.
