Need for a plan

Roy Isaksen’s letter (Auburn Reporter, July 30) notes in part:

The mayor and other “city officials” need

to get a life and firm up some realistic plan to improve the downtown Auburn area.

Citizens need to pay attention and become actively involved in City Council planning. Virginia Haugen, as a member of the council, is focused on developing rational plans to improve downtown Auburn. Her efforts deserve public support.
