Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce names new president, CEO

Kacie Bray has been selected as the new president and CEO of the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce.

“We are thrilled and excited to welcome Kacie to the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce” said Doug Happe, chairman of the board at the chamber, who made the announcement Monday. “Her impressive experience combined with her passion for community initiatives will be a tremendous asset as we broaden the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce appeal and presence within the area.”

Bray succeeds Julia Jordan, who has joined WinnComm, LLC, a marketing and public relations development agency in Kent. Jordan will launch JagChamber, a Software as a Service (SaaS) membership solution program.

In her new capacity, Bray is responsible for the implementation and measurement of the commerce’s strategic plan, which includes membership, education, special events and community outreach.

Most recently, Bray served as regional sponsorship manager for Washington Prime Group, leading Auburn’s mall, The Outlet Collection | Seattle, to increased revenue. She previously was marketing director at The Outlet Collection.

Bray has also served on the Auburn Tourism Board for the City of Auburn to increase brand awareness to the area.
