Homes prices in Auburn were up 13.7 percent but home sales dropped 11.1 percent in January compared to the same month last year.

A total of 64 homes were sold at a median price at $295,000, according to numbers compiled by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company.

The median home price was $297,400 for single-family homes and $159,500 for condos and townhomes.

The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.

Auburn homes spent an average of 41 days on the market in August.
