City and community leaders joined staff at Terry Home to celebrate the opening of its second facility in Auburn at 727 A St. NE.
The 5,300-square-foot facility offers 12 rooms for residents and sets aside four beds for veterans. Grants and the organization’s fundraising efforts have made it possible. The Auburn Eagles have continued their strong support of the cause.
Terry Home provides residents with traumatic brain injury (TBI) the opportunity to work toward a more independent lifestyle through structured programs and activities centered on strengthening daily living skills.
Its other location is in a quiet setting in Pacific.
Terry Home staff is on-site 24 hours a day and is specially trained to deal with the needs of the TBI population.
