Brown Bear Car Wash tunnel wash locations, including Auburn at 814 Auburn Way S., will offer free “Beary Clean” car washes on Thursday, Aug. 25 as the family-owned company celebrates its 59th anniversary.

The company’s 22 tunnel wash locations across the Puget Sound will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the special event.

Last year’s one-day “birthday” added sparkle and shine to 26,437 cars and trucks across the Puget Sound area. For the past nine years, family-owned Brown Bear has provided more than 250,000 free washes as it celebrated its August “birthday” with customers and honored veterans and current service members on Veterans Day.
