The City of Auburn on Monday hosts Boss Mama’s Kitchen, a food truck specializing in burgers and grilled sandwiches, part of the City’s annual Giving Campaign fundraiser aimed at raising money for local charities.

The truck comes to the City Hall Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., serving its standard menu and specialty items including a peanut butter and bacon burger and pepperoni pizza grilled cheese sandwich, complete with mozzarella and marinara sauce.

Members of the public are encouraged to purchase lunch to support the cause. Money raised will benefit the Auburn Food Bank and the See Ya Later Foundation, a nonprofit organization that serves families with a child facing a critical illness.
