The City of Auburn Office of Economic Development presents a free public workshop, Developing a Business Plan/Researching Your Idea, on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, 25 W. Main St.

There is a lot to consider when opening a business – market research, writing a business plan and creating financial projections to name a few. Before launching into the market you must do your homework. Learn how to organize your ideas into a reality by understanding how to define your niche, know your customer, and research your competition.
