The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe is in a celebratory mood — and wants everyone to come take part in the festivities.
The tribe invites the general public to attend the grand opening celebration of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort starting Friday, Jan. 26, and continuing through the weekend.
The upgraded Muckleshoot Casino Resort adds more than 400 guest rooms, an expanded casino floor, an indoor pool, luxurious spa and its crown jewel, a gourmet rooftop steakhouse, Smoke & Cedar, which showcases breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier.
The grand opening will offer weekend festivities including performances by David Spade and Blue Oyster Cult. Guests can enter to win thousands in cash, free play and free stays at the new resort, plus $100,000 toward a new car.
The tribe held the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the tribal opening on Jan. 3 at the Muckleshoot Events Center.
The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe is a major contributor to the local economy and community, providing resources to other governments, schools, nonprofits and churches throughout Washington. The benefits of the Muckleshoot Tribe’s economic revival go well beyond financial contributions. From landmark agreements protecting fish and wildlife habitats and innovative educational programming to hundreds of partnerships with organizations serving those in need throughout the state, the tribe has committed itself to improving the quality of life of its citizens, neighbors and workforce while preserving its culture.
