City needs to recapture its ‘nice town’ look

It's been brought to my attention lately how much Auburn has changed over the last couple of years. What was once a nice town to be in has turned into a crime-ridden, vandalized dump.

It’s been brought to my attention lately how much Auburn has changed over the last couple of years. What was once a nice town to be in has turned into a crime-ridden, vandalized dump.

I was walking on I Street Northeast near DSHS and noticed broken windows on buildings, boarded-up, unoccupied homes and overall an “eerie” feeling walking through the area.

We, as a city, need to come together as a community and get this city back to being what we once remembered.
