Things are looking up. The wife and I just received the notice to renew the license tabs on our three-year-old sedan. The rate dropped approximately $20 this time around after having it raised approximately $200 last year to assist the Regional Transit Authority (RTA).

There is a bright side though. In 2029, in only 11 years, the RTA is going to lower the tax rate from 1.1 to 0.8 percent, that is, unless another bond is passed between now and then.
