Again, I’m directing this letter to Mayor Pete Lewis and the high cost of my water bill.
My most recent water bill has jumped up significantly when I know for a fact that my consumption was down.
As we all know, we have had record amounts of snowfall in the mountains and record amounts of rainfall in the lowlands. There should be no reason for any water consumption restrictions this summer, and there should be no reason that Auburn residents’ water bills should be so high.
What is our money really being used for? The pipes have been laid and paid for years ago, so come on, maintenance doesn’t cost that much.
I should be seeing a reduction in future bills, not an increase.
Those who agree with me, please write.
