Following the leader in painful cost of living

It baffles me that Americans, including me, go to the gas station and pay record prices, buy fuel oil for their houses and pay record prices, buy propane or natural gas and pay record prices, go to the grocery store and pay record prices and nobody complains to the fed when oil companies announce record profits.

Instead of English, this letter should be written “baa, baa, baa” because we’re all a bunch of sheep. To make matters worse, the fed is complaining that the national debt is out of control. Could it be that we’ve been outbid for our senators and congressmen by the oil companies?

If you think enough is enough, send this to your representatives in Congress and ask for an explanation that does not include “market forces” or “everything costs more” or “normal price fluctuation.”
