Making a difference

Wow, City Councilman Bill Peloza, you really got the job done.

Many, many thanks for your concern and immediate action on my unsuccessful plight to recently get sandbagged. My neighbor and I were excluded from the original sandbag drop on the Green River in Auburn at our house.

Connor Moore (Auburn Emergency Management) listened to you and organized the dedicated CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) to physically place the sandbags. Thank you, Connor.

The levee continues to be of concern to many of us who reside along “the Green.”

There is never an “I” in TEAM but in this event, I am truly grateful to Councilman Peloza because my efforts to receive help were not met.

I have observed Peloza at numerous community meetings and events, and he always presents himself to be genuinely concerned about people’s problems and issues. He listens intently and always moves forward with positive results.

Bless the Auburn CERT women and men volunteers for their muscles.
