The Auburn Valley Y and its Happy Hands Club offers a heartfelt thank you to so many who contributed to the success of their first annual pillowcase drive.

The Auburn Valley Y and its Happy Hands Club offers a heartfelt thank you to so many who contributed to the success of their first annual pillowcase drive: Auburn Area of Commerce; Columbia Bank; Chase; Junior League; Northshore YMCA; Wesley Homes; Cascade Regional Blood Services; Mama Stortini’s; King’s Value Inn; The Running Stitch; Powers Funeral Home; LDS Green River Ward and many YMCA members and people from the community.

The group exceeded its goal of 900 cases, which is a one-month supply for the hospital. A total of 1,020 kid-friendly pillowcases were donated.

More 780 hours were donated to accomplish this worthwhile endeavor.

The Pillowcases were delivered to Mary Bridge on April 25.

In addition, on the same day, the Happy Hands Club delivered handmade hats, blankets and supplies to the Pediatric Intensive Care Center (PICC) in Kent.
