Reelect compassionate Sen. Kauffman

Throughout my life I've worked in human services. Four years ago, I supported Claudia Kauffman's campaign and I'm satisfied with her accomplishments. I'd like to see her continued as our state senator.

Throughout my life I’ve worked in human services. Four years ago, I supported Claudia Kauffman’s campaign and I’m satisfied with her accomplishments. I’d like to see her continued as our state senator.

Claudia is the mother of a special needs child and a foster mother of 10 other children. She accomplished the creaton of an Early Learning Advisory Committee, which fasioned a statewide plan to revamp Washington’s early learning policies. Claudia also sponsored legislation to expand the American Indian endowment scholarship program, SB 5001, and to reform the state’s child welfare program, SB 2106, both of which have been signed into law by the governor.

I also liked her straightforward answer when asked why she ran: “I was raised in a community where community service was just a given. People helped each other as a way of life. You need to feed the hungry, you care for and honor the elderly, you honor veterans in your community.”

We have lots of voices in government. I know we should cherish and maintain ther special gift, the richness we have in Claudia Kauffman.
