An ACAP hug to the mayors of Auburn and Algona, members of the Auburn and Kent City Councils, president of Green River Community College, the directors of AYR, Auburn Food Bank and Valley Cities, as well as the vast numbers of caring citizens of Auburn and surrounding communities for attending our annual breakfast benefitting ACAP Child & Family Services.

Special accolades to Michael Hursh and Arleigh Champ-Gibson for their unusual “deep-throated” performance that brought down the house.

This is a unique community that comes together even in the most trying of financial times to demonstrate a spirit of concern for our most vulnerable citizens, the children. You demonstrate selflessness that should be emulated in our state and nation.
