Seems like perhaps summer has actually arrived. Warm weather and school bring lots of kids out and about.

I live in a neighborhood where we are fortunate to have three, count them three, parks our kids can walk to. But every time we head out to walk to a park, I see cars going way too fast. Please folks, slow down.

The speed limit is 25 miles an hour, unless otherwise there posted – 25 miles an hour. That feels very slow when you are driving, but is critical for the safety of our kids.

Turn off your phones, stop talking/texting, slow down and keep an eye out for our children; and by all means, please enjoy the summer.
