My name is Robert Cal Adams III. I am writing to the media in order to apologize to the employees for the robberies that took place in March through April of 2014.
People go to work every day to provide for their families, to live a comfortable life. Every job has its purpose, and a lot of people love their jobs. All people should have the luxury of feeling safe at home, at work and even in just everyday life.
Nobody deserves to come to work and be put in a bad situation.
I blame nobody but myself for the actions I took. They were very stupid and selfish. There is absolutely no excuse for committing any crime.
What I can say is that I had an addiction that I’m now working on. I’m a work in progress. I’m not apologizing because I got caught or because anyone told me to do so but because I don’t think what I did was right. You were just doing your job.
No one should have to worry about someone coming into their place of work and be ordered to do anything other than what the boss says.
But seriously, I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart, and please know that I will do anything to make it up and try and prevent these things from happening. I’m working on my problems and trying my best not to go back to that way of life I was living.
I apologize to everyone I affected. I never wanted or intended on hurting anyone and never will.
