The American Legion, Auburn Post 78 and District 11 thank all the individuals and organizations who contributed to the success of their “Sweats for Vets” program.

Seven-hundred-and-fifty new sweatsuits were distributed to patients in the VA Hospitals in Seattle and American Lake as well as the Orting Soldier Home.

We especially would like to thank the Auburn Eagles and Auxiliary for their generous donation, Mayor Pete Lewis and Auburn City Hall for helping collect funds. We also would like to thank KMPS 94.1 for promoting the program and the Auburn Reporter’s articles that made the gift-giving so successful.
