I want to thank the City of Auburn and the construction crew that is so diligently working on Les Gove Park, directly behind the Auburn Library. They might not know what a great show they have been providing.
I’m a children’s librarian at the library, and it has been a pleasure to see so many truck loving youngsters with their noses pressed to the windows in our children’s area, watching the construction that is going on. We sometimes have to interrupt story time to see what cool things are happening. It’s the best free show in town!
So I just wanted those workers and the City to know that in addition to all the benefits the work will have for the park, it has the unintentional benefit right now of entertaining a great many kids (and truthfully, I’m getting a kick out of it, too). Thank you.
