My wife and I attended the Uniquely Auburn event at the Auburn Performing Arts Center last Sunday. We have attended this community event for many years. The committee outdid themselves in planning and organizing this free event.

The storyteller and master of ceremonies, Dennis Brooke, was superlative in all aspects of the program. All performers, speakers and Auburn’s Little League champion representatives did their parts with “lots of class.” The evening concluded with a scrumptious dinner prepared by lead kitchen volunteer, Tamie Miller.

Hats off to event co-chairs Janice Nelson and Lee Valenta, other team committee volunteers and the dinner volunteer servers.
