My parents are from Spokane – they visit about four times a year and have their favorite routine when they come to Auburn. Coffee at McDonald’s, Lunch at Zola’s and Shopping at Rottle’s.

When they saw the new development happening on Main Street, they were so amazed and wondered if I could get our mayor to call their mayor and tell him how this is done.

Change isn’t always fun. Development is usually slow but Auburn has been blessed with Mayor Booth, the “set-up man,” and now Mayor Pete Lewis, the “git-er done” guy.

Without the foresight of these two mayors and the council that serves Auburn, we wouldn’t be seeing this exciting development right here in our little town.

Being a new small business owner here in Auburn, I have had nothing but the best support from the city employees and the council and the mayor.

I’m voting for Mayor Lewis – I urge you to do the same.
