All we hear about from Pacific Mayor Richard Hildreth is emergency management classes and what it costs him, and possibly the City, to train him for a new career.

He is endorsed by the firefighters union and the Valley Regional Fire Authority, of which Hildreth is a board member.

The City of Pacific cannot run on emergency management alone. We need water, public utilities, streets, schools and community services.

Vote no on Hildreth’s self-serving emergency management training, and the cost to the City for his new career.

Vote yes for John Jones and sound government.
